Hi all,
on the pages of the Pear base system package (http://pear.php.net/package/PEAR)
the dependencies for PHP is (version 1.3):
PHP Version: PHP 4.1 or newer
However, I am trying to install Horde on Debian Woody and PHP complains that
Pear tries to use a function 'is_a' and it doesn't know it.
A look at the PHP manual tells me that is_a is only supported in (PHP 4 >= 4.2.0) .
I'm running 4.2.1, so ok judging by the pear dependencies.
I should say I got my pear from Horde, but it's listed as 1.3
Should I downgrade pear? I'd rather not upgrade PHP manually and break the
apt-get update thing.
Or is there another way to fix this.
Thanks for any help
joost
