Whoops, my bad, I'm not running PHP 4.2.1 but PHP 4.1.2 (typo).
I've downgraded pear, log, db and date and it's ok now. (I'm actually sending
from IMP now :) ) So the dependecies are clearly incorrect (as you said) but
that's not such a big deal, just confusing.
