Right.
The difficulty I addressed was applying this method contextually, so that
the defaults would always be set correctly when the user returns to the
beginning of the form without completing it:
- "fresh call" from "outside" QFC: reset the container (hence the
"qfnew"
variable passed in the links)
- call from inside (action button): leave the container untouched
Just my 2 Belgian francs.

You can reset the controller container by using
$controller->container(true);
