PEAR Announce schrieb:
The new PEAR package DataGrid-0.4 (alpha) has been released at http://pear.php.net/.
Package Info ------------- This package offers a toolkit to render out a datagrid in HTML format as well as
many other formats such as an XML Document, an Excel Spreadsheet, a Smarty Template and more.
It also offers paging and sorting functionallity to limit the data that is presented.
This concept is based on the .NET Framework DataGridHello Andrew, could you be a little bit more specific about this package? Maybe you could offer an use case where DataGrid might be helpful? To be honest, it sounds interesting to me, but I don't get the exact point Is it meant to be an abstraction layer between the generated data in a web-application and the output format (html, xls ...)? And what about sorting? Will it be sorting, or did you even think about filtering? Best regards, André Temme
