One question left: In my application, in some cases I run into memory problems because of the data-objects getting to big. Looking at your debug-example, I would fear the same, your main array looks pretty big for five rows of data. Have you thought about that or is there even a generall approach to solve such problems? The only solution that come to my mind would be to use more logic within the database, but this would mean to loose control in the controller layer :( Regards, AndréAndre, many of these "data manipulation" acts should definatly take place in the database. The sorting should definetly take place in the database and should not be used via the datagrid. Same thing goes for the paging, it would be much wiser to use the limit clause if you are using a database that supports it (mysql, postgres). As for the structure, this package is still in alpha development which means the structure of it all may change. As to making it less memory intensive, it has been something that I have been trying to figure out (ie. does passing the datagrid object by reference into the renderer object contain any memory issues?) A comment by Markus Wolff seems to make me feel more comfortable about this. Please feel free to make comments and suggestions if you have any ideas on improvements to the API or structure. Thanks, Andrew
