Would anyone mind helping me out with using PEAR_Frontend_web. I don't really understand the 'instructions'. Here is what is in example.php: /** * Installation of PEAR_Frontend_Web: * * 'pear install PEAR_Frontend_Web' * Create a __secure__ directory accessable by your webserver * put a file like this one in there. * Create a directory for PEAR to be installed in and add it to * the include path. (Yes. you can use your standard PEAR dir, * but the Webserver needs writing access, so I think for this * beta software a new directory is more safe) * Specify a file for your PEAR config. * Have fun ... * So, am I creating an additional PEAR directory (separate from /usr/share/pear)? And that is where the packages that this frontend will install to? If so, is it PHP_PEAR_INSTALL_DIR that I need to set? What is PHP_PEAR_BIN_DIR and PHP_PEAR_PHP_BIN? And last but not least, what needs to be in the PEAR config file? Thanks, Chris ***** "The information transmitted is intended only for the person or entity to which it is addressed and may contain confidential, proprietary, and/or privileged material.
