problems (DB_DataObjects)

I'm having problems using DB_DataObject on my clients server. In fact, I don't get any response at all when I try to load the script causing the error.
I tried poking around in the error logs, and here's what i found:

Now, I have an exact copy of these scripts on my development server, and they work like a charm.
any hints?
