DataMiner is excellent. It handles everything I need. Sort by column,
date, date/time entry, picklists, import/export. A superb package.
Unfortunately, it's not "Pearified".
It's mysql specific, though it's based on a dataDBI class that could be
ported to other DBs.
I don't think it would take too much effort to make it Pear compatible, but
would that mean it would need to be migrated to the Pear DB class?
