Hi Matte: Thanks much for the help. I have 2 more silly questions: 1. When I install a local copy of PEAR - do I have to have to install the base classes if I dont' need them? Yes. All PEAR classes are derived from the base classes, so you have to have the base classes in order to derive from them.
2. Is the windows path different from the UNIX path e.g. \ vs /? Yes, but if you double-quote the paths ("C:\Windows\etc\whatever"), you need to use \\, since \ is a metacharacter ("C:\\Windows\\etc\\whatever"). Windows may or may not work if you use the UNIX standard /.
3. For require.once, often what is stated is something like HTML/Form.php however, when we unzip it, they often include the version information - must this be deleted or is the file automatically detected? Relative to the include path, you want the path to the PEAR files to be the same as normal. Aka, QuickForm can be accessed at INCLUDE_PATH."HTML/Quickform.php". Does that makes sense?
Thanks again! Sorry if the questions seem so goofball. Jo Evan Broder
