I have a form that's changing a hidden element with javascript before
submitting, and I'm trying to reset this element before redisplaying the
form. Unfortunatly doing a setValue() on this element doesn't appear to
work, and I just can't figure out why this might be.
class myForm extends HTML_QuickForm
{
function myForm()
{
$this->HTML_QuickForm('RadUser');
// this is added for the javascript to change to allow the
// action handler (serverside) to read it
$action =& $this->createElement('hidden', 'action');
$this->addElement($action);
// call the action handler
$this->_actionHandler();
$action->setValue('moo');
$this->addElement('submit', 'post', 'Submit');
}
}
Any ideas are most welcome.
Kind Regards
