Are you referring to utf8_encode and utf8_decode? I tried using those and
they did change my text, but they turned into either question marks or an
unreadable mess.
I also tried applying filters to the default values like this:
// Set defaults for the form elements
$form->setDefaults(array('textareaExample' => $DESC), utf8_encode);
but no luck.
Am i using unicode incorrectly?
I also tried to take Justin's advice and insert the Korean text into my
database manually but it is still turned into html entities.
Can you tell what I am doing wrong?
Also, if you created a custom textarea would you still be able to validate
using Quickform?
Thanks!
