yup thats the big change. MDB2 returns objects like DB does. personally i would really recommend going with MDB2. there will be API changes, but they are not likely to be serve. If you use the CVS version (which is very close to another release as I have the oracle issues now more or less resolved) then all of the upcoming changes are mostly in the prepare API and LOB API of MDB2.
