Hi there I posted this question 2 days ago, but I did not get a response, so here goes again. In the documentation for Spreadsheet_Excel_Writer it states that the format::setBgColor has no effect if a pattern is not applied to the cell. I don't want a pattern, but I want the cell to have a background color. Does anybody know if this is possible. If so, how and if not, why not? Cheers Louis
