Trevanit looks like you've got a rogue version of PEAR. Try "which pear" and see if you can figure out where your two copies of PEAR are. If you only have 1, then the best thing would be to "pear upgrade PEAR" PEAR 1.1 was listed as stable, but that's pretty far from the truth, unfortunately. Greg
