Cache_Lite & Write Control

Hi, I'm currently working with Cache_Lite, and having some issues cleaning up cached items. The scenario is this: 1. A user comes in, page isn't cached, it is then cached 2. Second hit delivers cached page 3. Under certain circumstances, we need to force the regeneration of the cached object so we do a recursive unlink on the files 4. A new cache object is created the next time the user comes in. However, between 3 and 4 we sometimes have a breakdown. $cache->save() sometimes returns false. We are using write control. Could it be that write control is returning a bad false? For example: if after the file is written, and before it reads it back in to see if the data is equal, another process comes in and replaces it, would not write control fail, even though the data is good - insofar that the new data written by the new process is good? If that is the case, is write control not reliable, and probably shouldn't be trusted?
