Hello,
Where does pear save the config settings? I have recently upgraded
from PHP4 to PHP5. With this a new version of pear is installed
in a new location. I use the web frontend to manage packages.
In the web frontend I changed the config setting to point to the new
location. The web frontend also tells me where the config file lives.
This is clear and works correctly.
The commandline package manager however doesn't seem to use the
same config file, if I change a setting in the web frontend the change
isn't reflected in the commandline package manager and vice versa.
I can't seem to find the pear.conf that the commandline package
manager is using. Is it even using a pear.conf file?
Is there a way to tell the commandline package manager what config
file to use? I'd like the web frontend and the commandline package
manager to use the same config file.
