Reading: http://pear.php.net/manual/en/package.html.pager.compare.php It says a jumping pager will at some point jump to an new "frame". I tried the demo but it looks like it's not jumping (it's paging but not jumping), wondered if anyone can have a look. Thanks:
there's a fairly clear example in the docs, in the page you mention: http://pear.php.net/manual/en/package.html.pager.compare.php The *data* is paged in the same way in Sliding and Jumping modes, while the *page links* behave differently. In the demo, if you are on page #1, #2 or #3, it shows the [1..3] interval. If you go to page #4, instead of showing the [3..5] interval as the Sliding mode does, it shows the [4..6] interval, and so it does for pages #5 and #6. Then it jumps again, showing the [7..9] interval, and so on. With the Sliding mode, the current page is always in the middle of the interval. I.e. the page interval is smoothly "sliding" one step at a time: [3..5] => [4..6] => [5..7] With the Jumping mode, the page interval is "jumping" at regular steps, i.e. [1..3] => [4..6] => [7..9] HTH Regards, -- Lorenzo Alberton http://pear.php.net/user/quipo
