Well, you can see up there that /usr/share/php is the pear directory, which is true on my system. That's where I find my PEAR folder and also the PEAR.php. The paths ? bin and include_path for php ?
Check this one to set the config: http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?l=pear-general&m=112097006209049&w=2 Could be also it concerns : http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?l=pear-dev&m=112110780020655&w=2I checked them out, but I don't see what these links can help me with this problem. Sorry, I hoped SuSE was more modern ... :)
On the other hand I noticed that the "/usr/share/php/.registry/" contains only one file. This is "/html_template_phplib.reg", containing infos of the package I installed myself as described in my first post. I guess the main point is that the SuSE package doesn't contain the ".registry/" folder itself. It go obviously only created when I installed the HTML_Template_PHPLIB package. er... I'm still believing in magie, but I'm happy to learn about those hidden (omg, stay so) files. Thanks to destroy a little of my "magie".
So, DOES THIS MEAN that the installed PEAR version doesn't have a proper registry and therefore cannot be able to show the PEAR packages? Ha la la ! /me thought registry was only on Windows machines.
?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? This would mean that SuSE didn't built the php4-pear package in the right manner... I guess there must be an error in my findings?! ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? No, not necessarly, but perhaps some more comunication would be lucky ?(that is true for a lot of distros)
