Hello,
I used the mail::smtp class.
The problem is that when i give a non-valid host, i get a blank output.
No error, nothing happens apparently ...
After some little research here is what I came to
When the host is wrong I have this object back
object(mail_smtp)(11) {
["_debug"]=>
bool(false)
["_default_error_mode"]=>
NULL
["_default_error_options"]=>
NULL
["_default_error_handler"]=>
string(0) ""
["_error_class"]=>
string(10) "PEAR_Error"
["_expected_errors"]=>
array(0) {
}
["host"]=>
string(26) "xxx"
["port"]=>
int(25)
["auth"]=>
bool(false)
["username"]=>
string(0) ""
["password"]=>
string(0) ""
}
Now, the problem is that my conf has pear error handling set to a callback
function.
This function is like the one on tomas site, it works perfectly with other
classes but in this particular case it does not ouput anything.
Am I doing something wrong ?
Arnaud.
