I've got the latest 4.2.2 version of PHP w/ PEAR installed and am trying to user the affectedRows() function in PEAR but I'm getting an error and can't figure out why... Anyone?
I'm getting this error:
Call to undefined function: affectedrows() in <b>foo.php</b> on line <b>48</b>
Here is a snippet of the code. Everything else works great. Incidentally, a call to numRows() fails as well.
<?
require_once ("PEAR.php");
require_once ("DB.php");
...
$sql2 = "UPDATE personnel SET dept='$dept', ext=$ext, loc=$loc where email='$login'";
$result2 = $db->query($sql2);
if (DB::isError($result2)) {
die ($result2->getMessage);
} else {
if (DB::affectedRows($result2)) {
echo "updated info for ".$login."\n";} else {
echo "WARNING: no match found for ".$login."\n";} } ... Ive tried the statement as DB::affectedRows($result2) and as DB::affectedRows() which is correct anyway? kp
