ok,
http://pear.php.net/manual/en/core.db.tableinfo.php
indicates that there is no method for retrieving table structure details on oracle database.. - not sure if that's due to 'not implemented' or 'not possible'
Not knowing Oracle, you may be able to anwser that better than I can.

Subject: Undefined property From: mclinden@informed.net Date: Fri, 30 Aug 2002 11:35:52 -0400 I recently tried installing PEAR DV using the examples in the manual. I had one setback early on in that I had turned OFF short_open_tag but I turned it on AFTER the PEAR install and got further. Basically, I am accessing an Oracle 8i database and ran createTables.php and got the following:Ok, Its not been tested AFAIK on oracle 8i, but there shouldnt be too many changes required. on line 152 of generator.php this line is commented out. //print_r($this->_definitions); if you turn it back on and send the results, It should begin to track down the problem. It looks like the pear db $database->tableInfo($table) is returning something unexpected. regards AlanFirst, every TABLE.php included the line:var $; // ()Which produced errors when I ran my test script. When I pulled these out, I got (with the following .ini)...
