I'm not sure to understand. If you have table C that links to table A with one field, and to table B with another field, this is handled by fb_crossLinks.
Could you show a small database structure to explain what you want ?

Wow! That worked like a charm....... Now for a sticky issue....what about compound primary keys with displayLinks set to 2? I think I'm describing that correctly. Form is for Table A, Table A has a linked field to a lookup table - Table B. Form for Table A should allow you to select options from Table C that are joined to Table B's id. However, Table C has a compund key. Example: I'm using a lookup table with 1000's of records for different uses (ie different lookup values for different tables / forms) , but I want to return only a subset for display in my select. Allowing the user to select only from the relevant set of values. I'm sure there is a way. I'm just a we little slow today.well ... Let's say it's friday night ... meanwhile you can achieve this with the prepareLinkedDataObject callback \ | / Arnaud Sellenet-Bodin Dév et dés http://demental.info Tel : 05 63 55 24 46 / | \ -- PEAR General Mailing List (http://pear.php.net/) To unsubscribe, visit: http://www.php.net/unsub.php \ | /
