Use of DB over pgsql

I tried to migrate a web aplication writen for mysql to pgsql, i use the DB API, but it seems to nopt work, see some examples: In Mysql

        SELECT A.id AS ID, B.nombre AS NAME WHERE (A.id=B.id_tipo)

this will result in a row of this tipe:

        ID -> 1
        NAME -> nombre

in pgsql the same sql return different nome on columns

        id -> 1
        name -> nombre

I use prepare/execute to insert some data of a file, into a blob column in mysql, it works fine, but when i try this in pgsql it broken with a: DB Error: unknown error - INSERT INTO propuesta_ficheros (nombre, tipo, datos, id_propuesta, comentario) VALUES ('pwobjects.sxw','application/vnd.sun.xml.writer','PK Anybody experiencie the same problems. I think that the API tell me the facility of migrate DB if i don't use DB specific SQL statements, but i see that it's not true.
