It does work with standard properties, and that's why I'm so confused
with it. And yes, I have added the custom field to the database. Does it
make any difference if its in the liveuser_users table? Should it be in
the liveusers_perm_users table instead? That's the only other thing I
can think of...
Is there any different example out there with custom fields, or is that
code wrong?
I have been able to get a workaround with it using the DB_DataObject
connections and using the auth_user_id to pull the record I need, but
it'd be nice to get a 'proper' method working.
Thanks for any help
Zane

Well without seeing the code its kinda hard to help.
Does it work for standard properties like?
var_dump($LU->getProperty('auth_user_id'));
var_dump($LU->getProperty('perm_user_id'));

If you add custom properties, you also need to add them to your
database. Using the install.php you can simply tell the install script
to do the necessary alterations in the database for you, based on your
configuration.
