Justin and Bertrand already told you what needs to be changed to get
your code working.
If your code worked with PHP 4, then the only possible explaination is:
You must have used an older version of HTML_Table with PHP 4 as you do
with PHP 5. And as from release 1.6.0 of HTML_Table a HTML_Table_Storage
object is instantiated in the constructor, your code can't work anymore
because the instantiation is not done anymore (therefore, use
parent::HTML_Table(...)).
