hi there!
i'm trying to use the php-package to build a dso-module of php for my
apache-webserver.
i want to install a php-based webmailer on this webserver. the webmailer has
a test.php that show all options needed and everything is well except the
installed pear-version.
the test.php tells me that i have to install the 'log-class' in order to be
able to use the mailer.
well...i read a lot of documentation about that but i still don't get it
going!
i downloaded the lod-package and i untar-ed it into php/pear and manipulated
the makefile so that these files would be installed to,if i install php (as
a module!)
it looked like everything would be installed, but the test.php told me it
wasn't so.
then i read something about installing the binaries before i install the
package.
i did that and if i entered pear --help then there were commands like login
logout.i think this is what was missing, but if i compile the module
then, again the test.php tells me the log class is missing (ok a bit late
now,but the webmailer is horde/imp!)
if anyone know how to do this, pleaze tell me,i'm at the end of my rope
now...
