Whatever you choose if "integerating" means changing the object modell: strictly no. If "integrating" means providing new classes in contained in a new package that utilizes the form stuff, just go for it. I won't concentrate on it in the near future. This short coding / hacking trip on the forms caused already lots of trouble in my other projects. I currently do not have the time to so.
Hello Ulf, Your class looks very nice! For the moment, I am only at the stage of reading PEAR source code. I need a complete PHP framework for professional reasons and hence will bring to PEAR the features I need. I plan to start with an HTML->XML parser and will then concentrate on list/page browsing. I like working in teams and will not ever start something without approval of the list. "integerating" means using inheritance and discussing with you about other things that ***could*** possibly be included in HTML_OOH_Form. At this stage, I cannot say more as I am learning. My first concern is that I cannot install PEAR!!! I downloaded the two pear branches from CVS. I want to use XML_Tree and notice that XML_Tree/Tree.php has these statements: require_once 'XML/Parser.php'; require_once 'XML/Tree/Node.php'; But XML/Tree/Node.php does not exist. The file is in 'XML_Tree/Tree/Node.php'. Does it mean I should merge the two branches? Shall I use something like an xml installer (why?? my paths are correctly set in php.ini) I feel stupid, can anyone help and describe the standard installation procedure? Best regards, Jean-Michel POURE
