The PEAR libraries distributed with both PHP 4.2.2 and PHP 4.2.3 are:
missing Net/Socket.php which is include_once'd by Net/SMTP.php line 93
missing an '@' sign in front of 'set_time_limit(30);' on line 179 of
Mail/RFC822.php. When in safe_mode, PHP does not allow set_time_limit()
calls and emits an error. This quiets the error.
When allow_call_time_pass_reference=Off, HTML/Form.php emits an error.
Remove the '&' on line 325 to fix the problem quickly.
Additionally, change line 303's "$default = ''" to
"&$default" to
prevent a superfluous data copy.
