pear webpage source

I'm thinking of trying MVC on a site i'm developing, and i'm wondering about the best way to implement the controller component... I was looking at pear site when i found the wishlist.php file. How is the redirection being done? Is wishlist.php a directory with a different file for each contributor? Or, and this would be really nice, is wishlist.php being called when http://pear.php.net/wishlist.php/mj, for example, is requested? Checking the source i found wishlist responds to http://pear.php.net/wishlist.php?handle=mj, but there's a line in there getting the path_info: $user = basename($_SERVER['PATH_INFO']); Is this supposed to do what i meant above? Thing is i would love to have some scheme like this one, very similar to the one jakarta struts implements, but i can't get wishlist.php, it just tries to call mj in the above cenario. Can i do some configuration to achieve this? Thanks in advance, Ricardo Rocha
