if you want to be win32 compatible you will have to watch out with the
separator you use ...
starting php 4.3 we will have a new constant ( PATH_SEPARATOR ) that
will define this separator ..
for BC this little snippet might help
// BC hack to define PATH_SEPARATOR for version of PHP prior 4.3
if(!defined('PATH_SEPARATOR')) {
if(defined('DIRECTORY_SEPARATOR') && DIRECTORY_SEPARATOR == "\\") {
define('PATH_SEPARATOR', ';');
} else {
define('PATH_SEPARATOR', ':');
}
}
