All you need to do is this - get the php-4.3.0 SRPM from:
http://www.aucs.org/rpmcenter/
Place it in /usr/src/redhat/SRPMS. Then (as root):
rpmbuild --rebuild php-4.3.0-1.8.0.src.rpm
This builds php 4.3.0 for your system, with your version of MySQL
client, etc. I had to do this because I have different versions of
MySQL on my different machines.
One thing, you may need to do the same with httpd-2.0.44, I think that
is what I did but it was not hard. For one machine I removed all httpd-
and php-related rpms and started from scratch. If you can do the same,
I highly recommend it. It feels good that way.
