hi
I have to make large Html table. I use PEAR HTML_Table, but I found that
for bigger tables (cca. 30x1000 cells) the script just dies.
To awoid mistakes in My script I made souch test script.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
#!/usr/local/bin/php -q
<?php
require_once('HTML/Table.php');
$Y=1000;
$X=30;
$table =new HTML_Table("border=1");
for ($i=0;$i<$Y;$i++) {
$row=array();
for ($j=0;$j<$X;$j++) {
// fill cell
$row[]="XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX";
}
echo "Row: $i\n";
$table->addRow($row,null);
}
echo $table->toHTML();
?>
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Interesting is that it stops in diferent Rows
for $row[] = "" it stops at row 845 for $row[] = "" it stops at row 824 for $row[]="XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX" it stops at row 785I tried to find where it dies, but I am not real programer, I am just a pear eater. Do I make an mistake or it is limitation of HTML_Table ?
