Hi Tim,
The next release will come very soon, probably by the end of the week.
I wanted to develop a wizard based on Cocoon and XForms but I won't have the
time, so it will be for the next next (next ?) release...
Generally, the API is backward compatible except:
- The toArray() method has changed its output.
- The filters don't require to be registered anymore.
- The preferred way to output the form is by using a renderer, even if we
left some helper methods that will use QuickForm default renderer.
- The way uploaded files are handled and validated will use features
available since PHP 4.2 (was 4.0.6 before). A test will be done to check if
files are required before other file validation rules are tested.
- Adding headers or data will be done using addElement('header') and
addElement('static') even if addHeader will still work.
- The method renderElement had to be removed (I don't think it was used much
anyway).
I think that's pretty much it.
Good luck with your project,
Bertrand Mansion
