I am not really convinced that XSLT is a worthwhile experience for PHP
programmers. XSLT just makes hard things hard and easy things hard. Then
again I haven't spent much time with it. There is a PEAR package that
aims to address the same task that XSLT tries to solve but you can
employ PHP code:
XML_Tranformer
I must admit that my first attempts with it weren't all that successful
either and I didn't have time to try very long. I will probably grab one
of the recent articles. I mean I read entire books on XSLT so I should
give this technology atleast a good read at some point :-)
