Hi session class seekers, I have made a session class. At the moment it works with files and DB_Split (which uses Pear Database but splits base64 encoded session hash into chuncks of 4000 chars as I use oracle and I don't want to create blob descriptors to store chunks bigger as 2000 chars) (so I use varchar2(4000)). You are free to create your own containers to feet your needs. It is as easy as with the PEAR Auth module. It is based on the work of Maxim Derkachev for his phplib implementation, as well as Martin Jansen for the Container stuff. I have no idea if this is well done or not, this is why I didn't publish it before. It requires tests and probably bug fixes as well as more consistency, it's been done quickly coded and does not really respect PEAR var name standards as it is easier to remember $session->is_registered than $session->isRegistered. Would you dare try it ? Go the these urls : http://www.mamasam.com/develop/session/Session.phps http://www.mamasam.com/develop/session/Container/DB_Split.phps DB_Split.php is supposed to be put into a 'Container' folder, same level as Session.php. Tell me if it works for you, what bugs you get, how to improve it, and if it's worth anything. Thanks Bertrand Mansion Mamasam
