When I try running the pear executable to list packages or anything I
get the following errors.
# pear update PEAR
Notice: Use of undefined constant PEAR_CONFIG_SYSCONFDIR - assumed
'PEAR_CONFIG_SYSCONFDIR' in Config.php on line 177

I've looked through documentation, but I can't find anything. I'm
running a base install of PHP with nothing fancy (mysql, postgresql, and
a few others). I've used the exact ./configure options on my Linux box
without flaw, but on this OpenBSD machine it doesn't seem to work. Any
suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
