Subject: [PEAR] ERROR Installing PEAR pakages through a proxy
Hi all.
I've just installed correctly PEAR in a linux box that uses a proxy to
connect to the internet.
Tha command was:
$ lynx -source http://go-pear.org | php
and it started the installation. One of the questions was about the
proxy which I answered correctly.
Even if I do "pear config-show" I can see that http_proxy is correctly
configured as http://172.16.5.252:3128 which is my proxy.
But, when I do "pear list-all" or "pear upgrade-all", I get this error:
PEAR_Remote::call: fsockope('pear.php.net', 80) failed
So, what am I doing wrong?
I use PHP 4.3.x in Mandrake Linux 9.1
