Hi,
I have looking at the DB implementation, and i have not found any file (at
the pear DB directory) related with old oracle function.
There is an specific oci8 interface but it doesnt handle the old oracle
extension (my php is compiled without the new oci8). I think that is posible
that someone have need this extension support before but i didn't found
already...
Instead of re-compiling another time my php, i think it could be better to
have an oracle.php in the DB directory, then the question is:
someone has this problem before?
adding a new extension support to DB is so simple than adding a file like
oracle.php into the DB directory?
in case that the last question is a "yes, but ...", inorder to have this
extension can i base the new code on the oci8.php code (i think in changing
oci* function to old ora_* and a litlle more...)?
