The wrox book (professional) rocks.
Check it out at the store. It's a great book.

Some people have told me that the books by Julie C. Meloni are good
for beginners. I've only read "PHP Developers Cookbook" by Sterling
and Andrei and "Web Application Developement with PHP 4" by Tobias
Ratschiller/Till Gerken so far. Both of them are pretty nice.
