Hi Greg, you've hit the nail on the head, I use the __FUNCTION__ and __CLASS__ constants in almost every method. thanks a bunch, that would have taken me ages to have discovered by trial and error ;-) happily upgrading, cheers demian Greg Beaver wrote:
Hi Demian, Do you use __FUNCTION__ or __CLASS__ in the code you are parsing? If so, try upgrading PHP, as there was a known, fixed tokenizer bug. Any crash in PHP is bad news, and I would test with a newer version, and if that doesn't fix it, try to isolate the crash by parsing smaller sections of the first file. Incidentally, it's always better to use the bug tracker/forums at sourceforge, that's guaranteed to be seen :) Regards, Greg Demian Turner wrote:
Hi I last created documentation with phpDocumentor on 5 Jun 2003 and everything worked fine. That was running - win2k - PHP 4.3.1 - apache 1.3.27 Now I've upgrade to PhpDocumentor-1.2.0a and every time I attempt to create documentation my PHP crashes when i get to the line: General Parsing Stage and it grabs the first file. In other words, only a few seconds into script execution? Any ideas? Nothing has changed on my system, no new modules, etc. cheers Demian
