Hi,
have you set the right encryption type? By default it uses md5 IIRC, so if you store your passwords using some other encryption type or just plain text, it won't work. You can set the encryption type in the options array:
'cryptType' => 'none'HTH Jeroen Labes Dirk wrote:
Hi, thereis a "=" and a "+" in my passwort. I try the following: $user1 = "*****"; $host1 = "*****"; $pass1 = '+***=**'; $dsn1 = "oci8://$user1:$pass1@$host1"; $db1 = DB::connect($dsn1, array('persistent' => true, 'optimize' => 'portability')); I get: Database Error: DB Error: connect failed [nativecode=ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied ] But the password is correct. What's wrong??? greetings Dirk P.S. I can't change the password
