Hi Dirk,
You can do it like this:
$params = array(
'table' => 'users','usernamecol' => 'username', 'passwordcol' => 'pwd',
'dsn' => DSN, 'cryptType' => 'none'); $auth = new Auth('DB', $params); if you leave an option out, it will use the default value instead. HTH - Jeroen Labes Dirk wrote:
Where can I set the options array? If I set the type in the connect string: $db1 = DB::connect($dsn1, array('persistent' => true, 'optimize' => 'portability', 'cryptType' => 'none')); I get the Error: DB Error: unknown option cryptType thanX Dirk -----Original Message----- From: Jeroen Houben [mailto:jeroen@terena.nl] Sent: Freitag, 11. By default it uses md5 IIRC, so if you store your passwords using some other encryption type or just plain text, it won't work. You can set the encryption type in the options array:'cryptType' => 'none'HTH Jeroen Labes Dirk wrote:Hi, thereis a "=" and a "+" in my passwort. I try the following: $user1 = "*****"; $host1 = "*****"; $pass1 = '+***=**'; $dsn1 = "oci8://$user1:$pass1@$host1"; $db1 = DB::connect($dsn1, array('persistent' => true, 'optimize' => 'portability')); I get: Database Error: DB Error: connect failed [nativecode=ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied ] But the password is correct. What's wrong??? greetings Dirk P.S. I can't change the password
