I'm creating an application that is closed source using PHP. Specifically I'm using PEAR::DB and PEAR::Log (as well as Smarty) and I was wondering what my restrictions were.
AFAICS it's OK to use PEAR in closed source applications as long as:
1.) I'm not charging for PEAR
2.) I'm not encrypting or encoding PEAR
3.) I give the people I sell my application to a copy of the source and license
Am I correct? Smarty is LGPL, which allows me to distribute unmodified versions of Smarty with my application. So my question is: How about PEAR?
Please reply directly to me - I'm not on the list.
