I'm sure it wouldn't take somebody too long to cut 'n' paste the docs
from the code into an HTML page, if somebody actually did I can't see
why it couldn't be included (or linked to) somewhere.
I use the date class a lot, and it can be a hassle flipping between two
lots of source code but it is definitely worth it.
I think I might have just convinced myself to do something if people
really want it that much and there are no objections. I might be
prepared to have a look at scribbling a few notes down if I was to know
what sort of things you want in a tutorial and take it from there.
I will send an email to the maintainers and see what they say if people
really want it done.
