Ok, I'm looking for the fastest way to retreive information out of a database, pump it into an array and work from there. I've been useing DB, but I'm wondering if MDB is a better route? I pretty much, run query, fetchRow, and occasionaly numRows, but that's it. Speed is an issue, so I am wondering, do we know which one is faster? If speed is an issue, do not use any database abstraction at all. Always use PHP native database API functions directly. DB provides a common API but your applications will not be database independent by themselves. MDB provides database independence. Each of them add overhead when compared to calling native database API functions. Between speed maximization and portability, you will not have both. -- Regards, Manuel Lemos Free ready to use OOP components written in PHP http://www.phpclasses.org/
