I have thought and even actually started to code a flatfile
driver for DB with which you could do SQL queries against
csv files (similart to Perl's Sprite).
However since PHP has now support for SQLite the need for such
driver is there no more. DB also has an experimental driver for
SQLite. (Yes I know SQLite files are no flatfiles).
