Dear people:
Alexey Borzov suggested me looking to DB_DataObject FormBuilder. While
setting up DataObjects and fumbling with foreign key relations there rised a
question reg the mydbname.links.ini-file:
http://pear.php.net/manual/en/package.database.db-dataobject.db-dataobject.getlinks.php
they say that the syntax of the links.ini-file should be something like
this:
[person]
person_id = convention:person_id
I just dont really understand this. I would think that I would need to set
up something like this:
[person]
convention_id = convention:id
,because I want to 'say' that in table "person", the field convention_id is
linked to the (primary key) field id in table convention... am i blind or is
there something wrong in the manpages? Manually invoking a join via
getLink() works perfectly tho. Unfortunately a try like the example below
doesnt work for me, as well. I read that naming conventions are deprecated -
maybe thats the source of my or the manuals confusion?
Thank you,
Matthias
