I don't know why there are two different versions of the mail package
in php4/pear and pear, but there were some fixes yesterday by
Rui Hirokawa and Christian Stocker.
Christian and Rui: Could you please take care that patches go to both
versions and that both versions contain the same code? Could one of
you (or Richard perhaps) bring both versions up to date?
Steen: php4/pear will contain the PHP Foundation Classes (PFC) which
are some sort of glibc for PHP. /pear will contain all the other
packages, PECL code, Gtk apps etc. For more information on this
you may want to read http://pear.php.net/manual/en/introduction.php.
