Hi! Mike Carter wrote:
When somebody types in to the text element and hits return the form is getting submitted - due to there being nothing else in the form. However - this form submission doesn't trigger QFC to move on to the next page. Instead I get shown page one again?! It seems I have to explicitly click the button linked to the next action. Any ideas how I can prevent/fix this irritating (for the users) behaviour?
Ugh. When the form is submitted via Enter key no action bound to the submit button is passed indeed. :[ Well, for now I think you can add a hidden element *after* the submit buttons with the name $page->getButtonName('next'). But this is a hack, I think a more elegant way to set default action should be invented. Thanks for the report.
On a side effect of this... If I enter something in the text element and submit it. The server side validation function is called - and returns an error. I enter something else and submit it. Server side validation again returns an error. The error message is displayed on the screen - but the text element contains the text of the first attempt, not the most recent one. A bug?
This is not a bug itself, but a byproduct of the above behaviour. The Display action handler 'thinks' that the form was not submitted and thus loads the values from session.
