Don't worry too much about the DTD for now, it's probably going to change if we have to work together. Fabien Franzen is also interested in the project, maybe we can coordinate our efforts. Do you have an AIM account ? We could arrange a small meeting to discuss the project. I guess Alexey would be interested too if he has some time. About the structure, I also used an extension of HTML_QuickForm_Page. This class integrates a recursive method that adds the elements made by Fabien. I use another class to modify the QFC object on the fly. At the moment, it only has static methods but I can already think of ways to expand it. For the XML, I found that JXForms http://cocoon.apache.org/2.1/userdocs/flow/jxforms.html was not too bad. It's based on XForms. But it could be improved for productivity and ease of use.
